Sunday, September 8th, was Rally Day at St. Mark’s. Rally Day marks the return to our Sunday morning schedule of services at 8 am and 10:30 am, with Bible class and Sunday school between the services. We started with the early service and the Blessings of the Backpack which reminded the kids that Jesus goes with them wherever they go including school. Between the services, Pastor Eric introduced the Sunday morning Bible class and the kids attended Sunday School. Toward the end of Bible study, the Sunday school teachers brought the kids into the Fellowship Hall and the adults and the kids took a few minutes to get to know each other. This will happen each week to help our St. Mark’s family grow closer. After the late service, we had an excellent spaghetti dinner that was hosted by the Education Ministry and the Family Ministry along with all the dishes that people brought. Lunch was followed by games for some and fun in a bouncy house for the kids. Praise God for His blessings as we start a new season at St. Mark’s!
