Michelle Berens
Michelle was born and raised in Wausau, WI. After graduating from Newman High School in 2001, she pursued and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation from UW Green Bay, she worked for Graebel Van Lines as a General Ledger Accountant.
Brian and Michelle were married in February of 2007 and had their first of 3 children in February of 2009. At that point they decided that she would be a full time homemaker in order to be home with their children. They have three kids, Sawyer, Westin, and Claire. She has cherished every moment she has been blessed with being a full time stay home mom. Through the years she has filled in for many friends’ and family’s childcare providers as needed. Since 2018 Michelle has been subbing as a teacher assistant in the Marathon school district where their children attend. In that time she has found that she loves working with the youngest groups so much.
In spring of 2021 Michelle’s family became members of Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church and feel absolutely at home here. She soon signed on as a part time Sunday school teacher for the Kindergarten/1st grade group, as well as applying for and accepting the position of Preschool Assistant Teacher. All three of their children have gone through the program here and they have always enjoyed it. She is blessed to be a part of this congregation and preschool program and she looks forward to the coming years of getting to know the many families that come through.
