We had a GREAT week of VBS fun this year, as we wrapped up July! Each day, more than 50 children walked through our doors and were lead, taught, and encouraged by awesome leaders. We had more than 35 volunteers help throughout the week, who truly made it happen!
This year, Camp Luther joined us and led a four-day VBS that was jam-packed with all the fun of camp – including exciting games, engaging Bible stories, fun team-building challenges, awesome arts and crafts, and lots of camp songs! We explored the story of Esther to help us discover WHO God calls us to be and WHAT God calls us for. We learned as we traveled with Esther on her journey from young exile to Queen, holding the fate of her people in her hands. WE are CALLED by God!
Many families, volunteers, camp staff, congregation members, and community members joined us for a short wrap-up program led by Camp Luther staff, and a fellowship meal to close the week.
Thank you to all our AMAZING volunteers who made VBS happen, our supportive congregation members, and parents who brought your children to VBS this year. Please continue to pray for these children as they begin taking their first steps in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ!
